Health/Physical Education and Religious Education

Aquinas College is a highly regarded, dynamic and diverse Catholic coeducational College. The College wishes to employ  an experienced teacher in a part time (0.8) Replacement position commencing July 13 through to December 11 2015.  This person will be a passionate educator with the ability to teach Religious Education, Health and Physical Education.  Participation in the co curricular life of the College is an expectation. A current bus licence would be an advantage. 

The successful applicant will:

  • be accredited to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic School, or evidence of working toward this
  • have current VIT Registration or equivalent
  • will have proven experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning
  • have an in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of all subject areas
  • have a proven ability to use ICT as a core part of learning 
  • have the ability to work successfully within a team
  • have a commitment to the philosophy and ethos of Catholic education
