Learning Support Officer - casual

Aquinas College wishes to employ a dynamic, suitably qualified Learning Support Officer on a casual basis. 

There is some flexibility with days of work with a typical day being 8.30am to 4:00pm. 

The preferred candidates will be enthusiastic and keen to engage with, inspire and support students with different learning styles and additional needs. 

The successful applicant:

  • will have relevant experience and skills and a strong interest in supporting students' learning
  • will need to work with students who may have extensive academic, social, emotional and physical needs. This may involve supporting students’ personal care requirements
  • will be willing and able to support students across all learning areas and year levels
  • will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
  • will have a Certificate lll and/or Certificate lV in Education Support/Integration Aide.
  • will have the ability to work successfully within a team
  • will be an Australian resident or have a current Australian work visa
  • will have a current Working With Children Check and Victorian Police Check or be willing to undertake these checks if successful for a role.
