Aquinas College wishes to employ a dynamic, suitably qualified Learning Support Officer.
Commencing full time in Term 1, 2025, fixed term for twelve months.
Working under the direction of Learning Support Teachers and with the support of the Director of Education Support Services, the preferred candidate will be enthusiastic and keen to engage with, inspire and support students with different learning styles and additional needs. The successful applicant:
- Will have relevant experience and skills and a strong interest in supporting students' learning
- Will need to work with students who may have extensive academic, social, emotional and physical needs. This may involve supporting students’ personal care requirements
-Will be willing and able to support students across all learning areas and year levels
-Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
-Demonstrate an enthusiasm to work collaboratively and an ability to work successfully within a team
-Will have a Certificate lll and/or Certificate lV in Education Support/Integration Aide
-Will be an Australian resident or have a current Australian work visa
-Will have a current Working With Children Check and Victorian Police Check or be willing to undertake if successful for the position
-Will have relevant permissions to work in Australia

Salary: Based on experience in accordance with the Education Support Officer – Category B scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).
