Current Positions Available

Learning Support Officer

Aquinas College wishes to employ a dynamic, suitably qualified Learning Support Officer.  This part time position is 0.697 FTE and is Fixed Term: for the remainder of the 2018 school year.

The preferred candidates will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire and be able to support students with different learning styles.

The successful  candidate

  • will have relevant experience and skills and a strong interest in supporting students' learning
  • will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
  • will have Certificate lll and/or Certificate lV in Education Support/Integration Aide
  • will have the ability to work successfully within a team
  • will be an Australian resident or have a current Australian work visa
  • will have a current Working With Children Check and Victorian Police Check

Experience with Years 10 to 12 English will be considered an advantage.

Communications Officer

Aquinas College wishes to appoint a dynamic, suitably qualified applicant to the position of Communications Officer.

The preferred candidates will be enthusiastic and keen to engage with the Aquinas College community. The Communications Officer sits within the Marketing and Development department in the College and will work collaboratively with other team members and staff to: ensure effective and efficient promotion of the College; cultivate the awareness, recognition and reputation of the Aquinas College brand; and to create and distribute a range of internal and external communications and publications.

The successful applicant:

  • Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
  • Will have excellent communication skills
  • Will have the ability to work successfully within a team
  • Will have qualifications appropriate to the role
