Wurundjeri Trade Training Centre Manager (WTTC) and Cafe N9ne (Hospitality) Trainer

Aquinas College wishes to employ a dynamic and suitably qualified Hospitality trainer to facilitate the training of students in our School Cafe and School Restaurant. The Wurundjeri Trade Training Centre Manager and Cafe N9ne (Hospitality) Trainer role commences in Term 1 2026 and is a Full time, ongoing opportunity.

The Wurundjeri Trade Training Centre (WTTC) Manager fulfils an important role in the College as this person is responsible for the curriculum of the VET Hospitality area, the supervision of WTTC staff and also enhances the life of the whole College community through furthering Aquinas’ reputation as a place of welcome for the wider community. This will require the Manager to coordinate catering for approved events that will sometimes occur outside of normal school hours, including the weekend. The WTTC Manager will have a vision for the WTTC and will work toward enacting that vision through the management of the facility, resources and staff. This role includes the training of students for and management of the Café N9ne program.

The preferred candidates will be enthusiastic, keen to engage and inspire our students and able to deliver curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles.

The successful applicant will:

* hold a minimum Certificate III or Trade Certificate in Hospitality: Kitchen Operations/ Cookery or recognised teaching qualification.

*hold a current and updated Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

*have demonstrated technical skills and ability to work in a Hospitality environment and maintain vocational industry currency.

* hold current Permission to Teach (VIT)

* have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children

* have excellent communication skills

* have the ability to work successfully within a team

* Will have relevant permissions to work in Australia
