This Sunday we celebrate the Pentecost, the event commonly referred to as the 'birth of the Church’, as the disciples were imbued with gifts of the Holy Spirit to then go forth to preach the Good news through both word and example. This week’s College Assembly theme was ‘Community’, exploring the parallels between the ways the early Christians attracted converts through each individual’s lived faith and the ways that we as Aquinas students and staff build community through our everyday actions.
