Bedford Road

Upcoming changes to local roads:

Bedford Road will be closed between Pitt Street and Rosewarne Lane from Monday 23 October to Sunday 29 October, 8pm to 6am each night for drainage and telecommunications works on the road. Access to Great Ryrie Street will also be closed at the Bedford Road intersection during this time. Bedford Road and access to Great Ryrie Street will reopen during the day. It is worth noting that there will be 24/7 parking impacts to Best and Ford street throughout this time. 

Busing and train impacts:

Impacts to PTV bus services 380, 679 and bus stops. Plan ahead and check the PTV website for further information on disruptions.

Pedestrian crossing impacts:

Closure of section of footpath and cyclist lane in front of MTM Signal Maintenance Facility on Bedford Road (westbound) from 7am, Wednesday 18 October to 6pm, Monday 30 October. Detour available via school side of Bedford Road. We will have onsite traffic management to help pedestrians navigate around the local area safely.

PEDESTRIAN CROSSING IMPACTS 

Permanent closure of the pedestrian crossing located to the east of Ringwood East Station (opposite the vet) from Wednesday 18 October. Detour available via the pedestrian crossing on the eastern side of Dublin Road. Refer to the map below for wayfinding information.
